Brad Thomann

Senior Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer

Brad Thomann joined Jeppesen in 2006. Prior to his current appointment he served a dual role where he was responsible for Jeppesen’s training business and also chief operating officer at Alteon, a fellow Boeing subsidiary. Before working at Jeppesen, Mr. Thomann served 19 years with United Airlines as a line pilot, instructor, flight manager, and Chief Pilot of United's flight operations at Chicago O'Hare (ORD). He also served as managing director of flight standards and training at United's Denver-based training center. Mr. Thomann has flown numerous military and civilian aircraft in his aviation career including the S-3A, C-9B, 747, 747-400, 767, 757 and 737. As Jeppesen’s chief operating officer, he is responsible for overseeing the functional organizations globally. Mr. Thomann graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 1978 and retired from the Naval Reserve with the rank of Captain after serving over 26 years.
